The Academy

The Academy offers a unique learning environment and is not just a ‘dancing school’ – it is a place where everyone involved is focused on the happiness and development of all students through dance education, experiences and opportunities whilst building the foundations of friendship, confidence and a bright future. The Academy has classes, programs and opportunities for the beginner and/or hobby student through to the elite aspiring dancer. The Academy is committed to further developments and in 2016 these include expanding our Community Outreach Programs and the appointment of our Parent and Student Liaison Officer.

The Academy’s teaching faculty provides a harmonious blend of youth, enthusiasm, experience and dedication which collaborate to ensure every student is nurtured and provided a quality level of training. Faculty members include professional dancers and highly qualified and experienced artists.

Directed by Kellie Fishwick-Roscoe, a highly regarded teacher with well over 20 years experience who has both Cecchetti and RAD teaching qualifications, is a graduate with Distinction of The Australian Ballet School Teaching Course, has been a resident member of faculty at several metropolitan and regional full-time and tertiary institutes, a dance assessor and adjudicator, a Tutor and Mentor for the Royal Academy of Dance, a highly sought after Calisthenics Graceful Girl coach, an active member of the dance community within Australia and has global dance networks with many past students now enjoying international careers.

Teaching Faculty

All of our teachers are professional dancers who have a passion for dance, and for teaching others to dance. In addition to being highly accomplished in their fields, they are also energetic, positive and caring people.
