Alexia’s love of dancing began when she began taking ballet lessons at the age of 5, Following 10 years of classical training in her hometown of Ballarat, including several years of training under the guidance of Kellie Fishwick-Roscoe, Alexia was accepted into The Australian Ballet School. 

Alexia then moved to Sydney to begin training with Studio Tibor where she joined the pre-professional full time training program. During this time Alexia was accepted and performed at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York City. 

After returning to Melbourne, Alexia joined Melbourne City Ballet’s pre-professional bridging program “Finishing Year” before relocating to Kentucky (USA) to join Louisville Ballet for a two year scholarship with the company as part of their Trainee Program. Alexia returned to Australia and joined Melbourne City Ballet in 2017 as Junior Artist with the company during their national tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. During Melbourne City Ballet’s 2018 season of Sleeping Beauty Alexia was promoted to Company Artist after her performance of leading role Aurora. Alexia then continued to perform featured soloist and lead roles in a number of diverse ballets, touring extensively around Australia (Victoria, NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Northern Territory & Tasmania) and in 2019 toured the North and South Islands of New Zealand in an exclusive performance tour of Alice in Wonderland. 

Alexia is also a qualified instructor of Anatomy & Pilates Matwork and continues to express her passion for dance and Pilates through freelance performance work and teaching. Alexia aims to coach and inspire the next generation of dancers by sharing her invaluable experiences and unlocking both physical & artistic potential in her students.
