Bridgette Andrews

Bridgette began her dance training at the age of 3, attending Edwards Dance Studio under Camille Edwards in Seymour Victoria, before moving to Ballarat in 2014 where she continued her dance training.

She has trained in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Heels and Musical Theatre. Bridgette thrives in the theatre industry, focusing most of her training on Jazz and Musical Theatre styles. Currently, she is undertaking classes in Jazz, Contemporary, Heels, Commercial and Hip Hop to further benefit her training.

Bridgette has also been involved in the Ballarat's Performing Arts community. She has been in Bloc Music Theatre's Junior musicals in 2021, 2022 and 2023, featuring in Dance Ensemble and Backstage roles, as well as Loreto College Musicals from 2021 to 2024, featuring in Dance Ensemble roles and as Supporting and Lead characters.

Such roles included 'Gregory Gardener' in 'A Chorus Line' (Loreto 2021), 'Bowery Brigade - Ethel' and Dance Ensemble in 'Newsies Jr' (Bloc Jr 2022), and 'Bert' in 'Mary Poppins' (Loreto 2024).

She found her spark for dance teaching while assisting Jinah Waters as Assistant Choreographer in the St Patrick's College and Loreto College production of 'Newsies' in 2025.

Currently Bridgette is studying the Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management through Transit Dance, aiming to be completed by the end of 2026.

You'll see Bridgette around the studio, assisting in classes and at administration as she completes her course. She is looking forward to working alongside the faculty of fantastic teachers at The Academy and is excited to help support students in developing their dance training and pass on her love for dance.
