Elaine commenced her dance training at the age of 6 and has trained in Jazz (RAD), Hip Hop, Contemporary Ballet, and Tap.
Elaine has been teaching dance for over 20 years with experience in coaching students in Jazz (RAD, ATOD) and Hip Hop (ATOD) in both exam and non-exam structured classes as well as providing tuition in Latin Hip Hop, toddler/preschool dance (Jazz, Ballet), and strength and conditioning.
She is a highly experienced choreographer and competitive director for performance and competitive troupes/solo/duo (Jazz & Hip Hop) in both Victoria & Tasmania receiving adjudicator recognition for her dynamic and entertaining choreography at several dance Eisteddfods. Elaine is also an experienced independent exam syllabus choreographer for studios in Victoria and Tasmania, choreographing syllabi for senior Latin Hip Hop, as well as a series of both junior and senior Hip Hop levels.
Elaine is also a qualified group fitness instructor currently teaching Barrè Attack, LES MILLS Body Pump, Body Balance and Zumba. Elaine incorporates this area of expertise into her dance teaching and is passionate about facilitating an environment which supports strong, healthy, and happy dancers.
Elaine is also a registered Nurse and Paramedic so when she is not on the dance floor or looking after her three little girls, she’s providing clinical guidance to nursing and paramedic students across Victoria as a Grampians Health clinical educator, as well as delivering/creating allied health professional development resources.
